Shiyong village is 32kms away from Mon town the district headquarters. It is well connected by road from Jorhat (147kms) and Dibrugarh (283kms) which are both connected to the Indian metros of Kolkata, New Delhi and Guwahati both by air and railways.
It is situated on a ridge on a hilltop surrounded bytea plantations,orange plantations and rice fields. with lush forests and clear streams.
Guests of the homestay will come and live with a tribal family in the village and participate in the daily activities and learn and share.
All the vegetables and ingredients for the food is grown organically and locally in the farms in the village.
