ITINERARY 1

(GUWAHATI-SHILLONG-CHEERAPUNJEE-KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK-MAJULI-NAMERI NATIONAL PARK-GUWAHATI)

DAY 1- Arrival at Guwahati airport/train. Evening river cruise on the Brahmaputra. Night in Guwahati.
DAY 2- Drive to Shillong(3hrs away) through picturesque Khasi hills. Sightseeing of the city. Night in Shillong.
DAY 3- Day trip to Cherrapunjee,explore the caves and waterfalls. Night in Shillong.
DAY 4- Kaziranga National Park,famed for the one Horned Rhinoceros and where one can see herds of wild elephants,
boars, swamp deers, jungle fowls, pelicans, herons, woodpeckers, king cobra, etc. Night at Kaziranga.
DAY 5- Elephant and Jeep Safaris at Kaziranga.
DAY 6- Majuli River Island,the world's largest river island on the Brahmaputra. Famous for the numerous Satras or Monasteries of the Vaishnavite and Mishing tribal villages.
DAY 7- Majuli.
DAY 8- Nameri National Park,on the Assam-Arunachal border with activities like birding, river rafting, etc.
DAY 9- Nameri.
DAY 10- DEPARTURE for Airport/train to Guwahati.

ITINERARY 2

(GUWAHATI- NAMERI NATIONAL PARK-BOMDILA-TAWANG-DIRANG-TEZPUR-GUWAHATI)

DAY 1- Arrival Guwahati. Evening sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra.
DAY 2- Nameri National Park on the Assam/Arunachal border, activities like birdwatching, river rafting, angling, etc.
DAY 3- Enter Arunachal Pradesh in Bhalukpong,and drive through lush tropical forests.Night in Bomdila, home of the Sherdukpen people.
DAY 4- Drive to Tawang through the picturesque Dirang valley and through the famous Sela Pass which is snow covered most of the year round.
DAY 5- Tawang. Sightseeing Tawang Monastery and surrounding areas.
DAY 6- Tawang. Sightseeing of the Lakes.
DAY 7- Dirang.
DAY 8- Tezpur.
DAY 9- Guwahati.

ITINERARY 3

(GUWAHATI-NAMERI PARK-TAWANG-DIRANG-TEZPUR-GUWAHATI)

DAY 1- Arrival at Guwahati. Evening cruise on the Brahmaputra.
DAY 2- Nameri Park.
DAY 3- Drive to Tawang through picturesque hills covered with evergreen tropical forests, Bomdila town,Dirang valley and the famous Sela Pass which is covered with snow all year round.
DAY 4/5- Tawang. sightseeing of the Tawang Monastery,the lakes and the surrounding Monpa villages.
DAY 6- Dirang Valley.
DAY 7- Tezpur.
DAY 8- Back to Guwahati to catch flight/train.
